When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely as a hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We also store the revision data you enter - study sessions, tasks, flashcards, past papers, and notes.
Your data is used solely to provide the Revise Track service - tracking your revision, showing your progress, and sending you emails you request (such as magic link sign-ins or password resets). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
We use the following third-party services:
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS to encrypt data in transit. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is 100% secure.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies.
You can request to view, update, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed.
Revise Track is designed for GCSE students (typically aged 14–16). If you are under 13, please do not use this service without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without consent.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
